My boyfriend and I are setting off for a year in Australia in a few weeks. We'd originally decided that we wanted to be based in Melbourne (hope that doesn't offend any Queenslanders!) but have been offered work in Rockhampton. I'm worried it might be a bit too quiet for us, although it'd only be for 3 months. We'd be there from May to July and obviously the weather should be a lot better than in Victoria...
Any advice from someone who's lived or stayed in the area would be brilliant!
