Your best bet is to phone them up when you get here, find out what debt collection agency it has gone to, and then arrange to start paying it. Your credit rating will already be messed up. But credit is harder to get than it used to be so it is getting harder to run up large debts before leaving. You are a funny guy Pablo, nearly as funny as me, lol But what you mostly say in jest, might be a solution to the problem. They SHOULD get a loan in the UK to pay off their debts in Australia and when they are earning the big bucks in Oz, due to the exchange rate, they can then pay off the loan in the UK double quick.
