Got to put our dog down. :-(

I guess she is 14 years old. She jumped off the sofa 2 days ago and busted up her leg. Have her on pain killers at the moment, but it's not looking good at all.

Really gutted. She's been in the family since I was 5-6.

I know it's only an old dog, but I never knew I'd be this sad! It's like she's a person. :-(

So sorry about that, our dog Womble lived till she was 16 and thats over a hundred years old in doggie years.

Aww really sorry to hear that!! I would be devasted as well.. Our dog is like one of the family, if anything happend to him we would be the same! My heart goes out to you..

People don't realise pets are part of your family not just a pet...its understandable to be sad, gutted and anything else...i lost my 20 year old cat last month and although he was old i was really upset. My other 3 year old cat died at Christmas after being poisoned, equally as sad if not worse...

That's so sad...I feel for you! My 2 dogs are both 9 years old, and my cat 16. I'm already worrying now how I'll have to face life without them! Sending you strength!
