You'll find you get what you pay for!

Do a quick Google search for PetAir Reviews, there are lots of positive reviews on them.... not come across anything negative so far......

This is an old post from Gollywobbler explains a lot about their setup

I will be using petair. I havn't even considered any others. Everything I have heard about them is so positive. Yes they may seem more expensive than others but I'm sure the service will be well worth it. Plenty of people on here recommend them

You can also bring the cost down considerably by doing a lot of the work yourself and still use petair.

If you email Bob Ghandour he'll give you the low down.

We're taking our 2 year old black lab with us and Bob came back with 2 quotes £2000 ish for silver cover and £3000 for gold cover. The difference between the two is paperwork basically, and them picking the dog up and taking him to the airport and checking him in etc, so everybody's circumstances will be different.

If you can do a bit of the work yourself you can bring the cost down, but from what people have said you get what you pay for, and from the small number of dealings I've had with Bob, he is very helpful and accommodating.

You've also got the quarantine fee's at the other end to consider which there isn't really much you can do about those, other than minimise the length of time your dog will have to spend there (30 days min) by getting all the vaccs and blood tests done in plenty time for him to be able to fly (5 months I think it is from bloods to being allowed to fly).

      Good luck.

Sorry I don't have Bob's email address but its on here somewhere, or you could just PM him.

      Dogtainers.

Flew my 'furry family' from Brisbane to UK in 2009 - two dogs & a cat....
Three years on I have no hesitation in using them again....have just started the process of 'getting them ready' (the furries, I mean)....

Can't fault Dogtainers - they were excellent.....my 'babies' were looked after superbly....

I'm organizing all the vaccs. & will take them to Heathrow myself - but all the paperwork (which can be a minefield) they did - & will do again....
They took all the stress out of it...

The size of all the crates was more than adequate & Abby's (my bigger dog) was the size of a two bed bungalow !

The rules are so stringent now-a-days they ALL have to be good....

We used Jets4Pets and Sam was brilliant – answered all my questions and worries (even the really bizarre nightmare I had about Satch being shipped opposite a lion and developing a phobia of cats...)
Jo (Aussie), Jon (Pom on a 100 visa), Satch (the gorgeous viscous labrador) have now been joined by Siena Rose.
Does anyone have a spare instruction manual for a baby girl?

We used Golden Arrow for our three cats, and couldn't fault them.

Good luck with your journey and whoever you pick to transport your furry friends!

We are going to use PetAir for our 2 mischievous mongrels... like what Galahad said, We got our price down by using the option of taking the dogs to the airport ourselves rather then them comming to Hull to take them dawn to London... We couldn't even think of leaving the dogs here, My partner said that if they failed there rabies test or any other test and they couldn't go, WE wouldn't be going, So luckily they passed there rabies tests so all should be good for them... I know that everyone is different but i couldn't leave the dogs here if they were healthy and knowing that they could fly, I did read on another thread some one saying that there not taking there 2 dogs with them, One of them i understand (old and ill health), but the other is young and they only got it late last year Knowing that they are trying to get to Australia, But in the next line there saying "I wonder how long it'll be once in Oz in October until I get a dog"... Like i say, Every one is different...
