I assume they are not American pitbulls?
Not sure but I thought Australia wasn't very accommodating of "fighting" dogs.
Forgive my ignorance if bill mastifs don't come under that description.
I don't recall bull mastiffs coming under the banned dog breeds. Pitbulls are a different breed altogether.
The only thing I can think of is that they are a very large breed and would need large crates to travel in, thereby making it pretty expensive cost wise for shipping. They may also not be great crated and you need to perhaps prepare them for that.
I'd be contacting Bob over at Pet Air and asking him for a quote on shipping them (inc. the paperwork etc) and then add on quarantine to that in Aus. Rabies stuff needs to be done at least 5 months prior to travel and there are other things to factor in also.
If your vet has given them the all clear to travel long haul and they are fit and well, I can't see any reason to not bring them. Heat wise animals usually adjust. Your dogs may struggle a bit in the high summer heat but there is aircon, paddling pools and tiled floors are usually cool. Walking would be done in the cooler parts of the day I'd reckon.
We have just moved back from oz and brought our bullmastiff with us. I am so proud of how she handled the relocation (I guess easier for us with no quarantine) but she did great on the flight. Can't recommend jet pets highly enough. One thing we did was get her sky crate delivered to home a few weeks in advance to get her used to it which worked well. Our bullmastiff suffered bad allergies in oz and her dermatologist said most of his work is from bullmastiffs!! Luckily the allergies have settled down back in the uk. There are plenty of good bullmastiff breeders in oz so the breed does cope well over there. Am sure your dogs will love it, they will just want to be wherever you are, good luck with the move :-)
how old is your bullmastiff when brought back from oz? why did you move back to the uk ?
She is 3 and a half. We came back for loads of reasons, the main one being family (hard as I am English but hubby Australian so one family will always lose out), plus cost of living over there and our commute to work were out of control. Loving being back but great memories over there too.
I have seen a bull mastiff in quarantine while visiting my baby x Like already suggested start crating if you haven't, the problem is that they are a snub nosed breed therefor you will be limited to which airline they will fly with although there is ways around everything. We have an english bully so if you need any advice message me x
Fighting dog..LoL mine wouldn't even bark at a cat, never mind want a fight... They were originally a gamekeepers dog, they are docile and very affectionate and Very unlikely to attack, but if provoked they would just like any other dog...

It's the press that are to blame for people's negative opinions on these dogs. Any dog can attack someone. I have 2 x Staffies and am sick of all the negativity these poor dogs get. Comments I receive from people who know nothing about dogs!! My two are the softest dogs you could meet. But I do not trust them 100%. I agree Any dog could turn if provoked. At the end of the day it's the owners who are responsible, they know their pet better than anyone else and know what their dog will tolerate and what they wont Staffs = nanny dog :0D
