calNgary
I saw this article today and it made me think of some of the days out we had been on, i do think Tangalooma has to be one of the most enjoyable days out we have had, it was a lovely place and very reasonable on costs .. http://www.flightcentre.com.au/travel-news/destinations/brisbane-day-trips/ http://www.tangalooma.com/info/home/ Whats been your favorite day out ? Peachy
I second Tangalooma. Had an amazing time there. Will definitely go back. Noosa and surrounding beaches up the Sunshine Coast also fantastic. Some of our best days out though have just been picnic and swimming at our local creek - I love that you can do something so simple (and free) within 10 mins of home. Really special family time without the pressure of a big day trip.
Guest
My favourite places to go are: North Straddy Island Noosa & Sunshine Beach Byron Bay Hey walking around Southbank and getting a bite to eat is always good. I enjoy a walk along Redcliffe way too on a Sunday and catch the markets
DT55
I like the gloworm caves at Springbrook with all the fireflies darting about. Truely amazing

Cal x We are coming over in August. Think we will definitely go there - it sounds amazing! You don't think it would be too cold to enjoy the beach activities do you? Did you do the day on the Island or did you book the Whale / Dolphin watching cruises? Im soooo excited I could crush a ruddy grape!!!! Glenn Wanderlustau
Tangalooma is pretty amazing. Camping for the weekend at Fraser was always a great little trip from Brisbane too.
