My dh got another email from the Live in Canberra Campaign which reminded me I should post it here
Live in Canberra
We have not been to any of the events they put on free yet as they have not been suitable for a young family or we have had a family crisis, but we hope to go to a drinks and nibbles event at parliment house in a few weeks. They also have tickets to the footie (AFL and rugby union) coming up, so dh might go to those and try and meet some other newbies to Canberra. The good (and i suppose the bad) thing about Canberra is everyone is from somewhere else so it welcoming of new people.
