Hi Quoll

Thanks for the information much appreciated. We have areas in mind such as Tuggeranong and Woden Valley. Do you know what its like in Woden Valley (Torrens Pearce) ? Is it expensive?

Regards
Catherine

General rule of thumb is that it gets more expensive the further out you go from a city centre. Torrens and Pearce are both 1960s type suburbs so you have the more traditional brick homes on reasonable size blocks. More expensive than outer Tuggeranong but not as expensive as Isaacs (mega huge multi million dollar mansions) down the road! It all depends on what your living requirements are but your money will go further the further out you locate - however, your transport costs will more than eat up any savings you may have made!!! Pearce doesnt have a primary school just fyi - it closed years ago and kids have to go a neighbouring suburb. Have a look at allhomes that is about as good as you get.
