Not much I miss as theres loads of new stuff to try and familiar things too...I really miss Staffordshire oatcakes though with bacon and cheese...yum...also proper smoked bacon (haven't found any thats quite like English bacon) and a nice crumbly vintage cheddar..
Also those big bags of onion ring snacks.

Not keen on the sausages so far, but I will keep searching. Used to like the finest/taste the difference sausages in the UK. I'd buy a freezerfull if I could. Other than that, I don't miss much to be honest. I love the different asian foods that the supermarkets seem to stock. Have tried a few different things.

Sorry Fiona,I can't agree about British bacon, over the last three or so years on every visit I have made to the UK i have searched in vain for good quality bacon and all I could find is junk that has so much brine and water added that when it's cooked it curls up to nothing.
Nah give me good old aussie bacn any day.
As for cheese you should try Mersey Valley Vintage Club Cheddar from Tasmania, that and King Island Vintage-both fantastic cheeses.
And BTW Johatts-Penguins are not a patch on Tim Tams !
