Ok, I admit, I dont usually watch the History channel...

I only know this show is on, because it was advertised in the back Tv pages of my Heat magazine!

Hi ...watched this prog a while back ...very interesting !!!! ....amazing to see what they had to cope with when they arrived ...and how they stuck it out .....liked the little old lady at the end who came "home " to die ..very touching !!!

my mum s cousin went on the £10 assisted passage on his own, never came back........met a oz lady had some kids. i don t think he s ever come back even for a hol!!!

Can you imagine what these people went through...no flights home/skype/phone calls.

Given the chance nowadays to get over on £10.. i bet the uk would be an empty place....

my MIL was going to be a £10 pom when she was younger, but her mum got ill about a week before they were due to leave so never went. thankgod she didnt as i would never of got with mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i bet she would like to watch it, might get her to record it for me.
