Solphadeine?

Hi

Does anyone know if they have Solphadeine in Aus and if not can I pack some in with my stuff to be shipped or take some in my suitcase?

I tried to get some on the Gold Coast but the pharmacy hadn't heard of it. I got something very similar but it had a slightly lemon taste to it. It was horrible - it left a bit of a metal taste in my mouth. You can't beat Solpadeine can you?

I don't know if you can take it to Australia with you, but I do know that codeine is illegal in Dubai so if you are travelling through Dubai don't even think of taking it, as codeine is one of the main ingredients. I've heard of a woman being imprisoned there for having codeine in her hand luggage.

Thanks Karen!! Blimey can just see me being locked up in Dubai ...thanks for the warning!!

Solphadeine is brilliant!! Its the only thing that works for me at that time of the month - if I dont have everyone around me has to take cover!!

Will have to find a substiute I think for the sake of my family!!

I have exactly the same problem. Codeine isn't illegal in Australia so maybe if they don't do solpadeine we could get someone to post some over. I will definately be looking into it because I really don't know how i'll cope without it.

According to the net it is marketed as Panadeine here - looks to have similar contents ie paracetamol and codeine. There is also a plus version from memory which is supposed to be stronger - dont know about the lemon taste though, they seem to be just pills like paracetamol.

Thanks Quoll. Do you know if they are soluble or pills to swallow? I can only take the ones you put in water.
