great blog Dizzy, we're a bit like you- 2 parents 3 boys,this time last year we had no idea we'd be living in oz- in short OH had a 457 job offer last Sept, company moved us in Jan, settled in at sch etc, got perm res. in June. Whirlwind!! loved your observations about differences UK/Oz. Were you surprised at the long drawn out 'how are ya's' at every checkout/phonecall/meeting?
Yeah, Seems the "how are ya" is actualy a rehtorical question, I get strange looks when I reply at the checkout that I'm fine, apart from not getting enough sleep, due to a possum in the loft (we really did, possum man came and took the little chap away in a cage), oh and my knees playing up a bit. :)
