Thought i'd say HI!! AND I'M STILL HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Logged on to find thousands of posts i haven't read, its been so long since i've been here properly.
Sadly, after a lengthy hospital stay my Nan passed away on Saturday morning, so been feeling pretty crappy. This has also made me realize how important my mum is to me.
PLUS our oldest friends (Blokes were in Parachute reg together) came to stay for weekend, and say goodbye as they are being posted back to Germany for 3 years.
Sigh!!!!!!!! Life goes on aye???

Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. x

Sorry about your Nan Leanne ,i lost my nan shortly before coming here and its bloomin hard ,she was like my mum and had raised me from being 3 mth old so made it all the more sad really. On the up side at least i was still in the Uk with her like you were and i could bring her with me courtesy of a little trinket box!!
The goodbyes are horendous ,definately the worst part of moving over here, you just keep smiling and you know where i am if ever you need a chat, moan or cry!!!

Sorry to hear about your Nanna. I lost mine about 14 months after being here. I said goodbye to my Nan on our last UK weekend and I remember her saying "someone in this fmaily has got to be brave - I wont cry. I love you both". Nice memory to have!!
The sad will stay with you but remember the good too.
