House sale fallen through......

We were coming up for exchange, Ive been clearing out the house, ebaying and taking trips to the tip, given stuff away, searching for flights, got quotes for shipping our stuff.

Got it all worked out and .............. find out yesterday that our buyers buyer has pulled out - so we've lost the sale!!

Back to square one!! Back on the market, trying to keep the house tidy and garden tidy, with 3 small kids running around and NO bloody viewers anyway!!

Im absoutely GUTTED!!! We have to validate by early Jan and I really don't want the expense and hassle of having to take a validation trip with my 4yr old and 2 yr old twins.

so sorry what a pain we are going to have to validate ours as no interest at

all in our house we have till dec 13th, but got to really go before 25th

nov as daughter 12 so will be adult fair it is money we dont have as all our's

is in the house so looks like i will have to get a loan, there are 5 of us............

So sorry to hear about the house falling through Angelcake ...... today seems to be one gloomy thing after another ..... but you never know whats round the corner, so chin up girl!!! any mum that can bring up 3 under fives AND go through the stress of getting a visa is made of tougher stuff ...so dry those tears and go and open a bottle of "mummy pop"!!

As for you Julie ...send the kids Fed-Ex ..... and your and the OH go Business Class!

You're right Sue, if I can cope with 3 small kids and the whole bloody Visa process, then I can cope with this.

sorry to hear your bad news. Fingers crossed you'll get a new buyer soon. at least if you validate, the pressure is off and you can sell without the mad rush.

Hi Alan,

When you are granted your visa, you are given a certain amount of time in which to get over to Aus to get your passports stamped or "Validated". You don't necessarily have to move there by that time, but you have to set foot on Aus soil by that time. All the members of the family on the visa have to go.

If I remember rightly its 12 months from the time you get your police checks done or medicals, whichever comes first. Someone on here will correct me if Im wrong.
