For everyone who hasn't rented yet when taking out a lease make sure you sort out your electricity supplier.
We were slightly dumb as when we took out a 6month let we werent' told anything about reconnecting electricity. As it wasn't mentioned we took it to be something the real estate sorted themselves.
We've been in our rental now for over 4 months and haven't received a bill yet. Went into real estate to make some enquiries about this and they told us they weren't sure who the supplier is but gave us a number anyhow to try.
The funny thing is been here 4 months obviously using the electricity while we've been here and the guy on the receiving end told me he would have to run a credit check first of all. So thanks for the 4 months we've already used. It's quite likely the credit check will come out pretty low as we haven't had anything on credit.
