Any brickies out there know what the stopages (ie taxes) are on the wages in Brisbane?

You do have options,
flat rate (WAGES or Self employed)
ABN = you invoice then and pay own tax, usualy have to have own insurance ect,,
Then you have travel allowence, Super, union fees, Qleave.

Some are optional. Got to get ready for work now, explain more later.
