Which PM ruined the UK the most?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have an opinion on where it all went wrong here in the UK?

Which PM or whoever is to blame for societies problems today?

And who's to blame, if anyone for us on here wanting to leave the place we've proudly or not so proudly called home?

ANYONE?

Cheers J.

I am a fair person ...so I dont think it is fair to blame any one person for the fiasco that the UK is fast becoming. I think of it as a "group effort" with each successive government contributing there own crap to the situation.

Shoot me down now but I think Blaire and Thatcher did wonders for the country! I really do. The only think I disagree with is the tax implications on small businesses and the stamp duty on houses not rising about the £250k for years! But on the whole they were good.

Liberalism killed the country.
At a school sports day there are not supposed to be winners and losers HOW DUMB IS THAT!!!
It's communism in all but name!
We now have a generation of losers coming out of school that are going to meet an 'old school' generation that demand results and immediatly we have a confilct of interest. The kids believe they can do no wrong, as they have never been asked to 'jump over too many hurdles' and are astonished when employers find them wanting!
Life is about survival of the fittest and if you can't cut it in one field you move on until you find something you can do. Not demand that everyone comes down to your level because it's affecting your human rights!
Thatcher was the last PM to scare the Americans since then they have grovelled!
Inheritance tax is a crime!
AND remember how Gordon Brown said he wanted the UK public to spend and spend, get into debt and spend again. Hardley conducive to preventing your house from geting re possessed is it!

When I came here at the end of Thatcherite era, Australia was much more prosperous than the UK. The standard of living was noticeably higher for the general population.

After ten years of Howardism many recent migrants are now complaining that Australia is behind the UK in general standards of living and prosperity?

That sort of supports the assumption that the top end of town get a bigger slice of the national cake under right wing governments?

Think Gordon Brown might have something to do with the current situation!!!

But hey want do I know - just a thought - lol!! Not really in a position to comment having lived under apartheid for most of my life! Ooh getting all serious now - now that's not like me at all - lol!!

Lets just hope things get better soon for everyone.
