well the offer came in, the estate agent could hardly stop herself laughing - £165,000 (we are on at £190,000 down from £220,000)
She knew what I was going to say - NO!
Hubby said a few 4 letter words when I told him LOL
They think they are in a really strong position, which they are, because they do not need a morgage and are in rented, they can move as fast or slow as we need.
BUT we do not want to sell at £165,000 we would come down a little more,maybe to £185,000 but we set the price lower than any others similar in our area.
Stuff it - if they won't pay what we want we will just rent it out and sell when the market is better - this house has sold within the week when we have tried to move before (could never find anywhere to move to!) so when the market is more buoyant (however many years that takes) we will sell.
ah well, we have to wait and see if they come back with a better offer.
