I spoke with Janette just over 2 hours ago, she has been up the hospital with Billy since 4am Perth time. They couldnt operate yesterday as his blood wasnt clotting however as its clotting now they (like Mark says) are going to operate at 2pm Perth time. It is still very risky as they are not sure what they are going to find when they do operate, but if he gets through this then he has a better chance.
Billys children that are still in the UK are trying to get a flight to Perth today. On top of this it is also Billy and Janette sons 18th today.
Our Prayers and thoughts are with them all at this most awful time!!
Can't imagine how difficult this must be for all of them and I have my fingers and toes crossed too.
Hope you don't mind me asking though, as I may have missed it somewhere on here, but what happened? not the full details obviously, just was it car accident or work related? is everyone else in the family OK?
These guys really helped motivate us to keep going when it the whole process went haywire and I am just so worried for them...

Hi Debs
I rang Jan about 27 hours ago. She said you had rung her and was obviously very grateful.
I left it tonight because Mark said he was going to ring her (and did).
The only flight from Glasgow is Emirates. Think it leaves about noon. Gets to Perth around 5pm tomoz, I think
Loads from Heathrow, though.
Has anyone reminded Billy's family to get visas? Those could be granted on arrival in Perth if need be, though, in this situation. Plus the Migration Agent can get the visas whilst Billy's older kids are en route. Janette is very fond of her step-kids so having them around her should help.
