Wanted to share some news as we are very excited, we have been reading threads for some time (everyday) and only adding in with the odd comment.
But, on Thursday (10.07.08) we got our Case officer (yipee)
We applied online on 29.11.07 we know that some are still waiting and some have recieved there visa's so it does seem to be luck (hang in there). We front loaded our Med's and Police checks, have been requested to fill out a declaration so hopefully our visa decision wont be to long in coming now.
Although we are full of excitment we have not sold our house, we had a good offer but they had two flats to sell and that was back in March but haven't had a sniff lately so will probably have to rent out our house. Some say this is a good thing because at least we will have somewhere to come back to if things dont work out. Will this make it too easy if we hit a problem? and the finance from the sale would help with setting up our new life and give us security. I'm sure there are lots of you with the same dilema wondering what to do for the best.
