Good luck with selling it when the time comes.

Hi Quoll
Your right the Lakes is a lovely place to live in, but not to work. To be honest with you because i own this business im working day and night 6 days a week doing around 80 hours a week and we do get alot out of it for the hard work put in and it has paid off. I dont get the time to see the lakes that often due to the work load, so i could be anywhere. Yes the air is fresher up here and it is a slower pace of life for those that live here.
The reality of the Pub and restaurant trade is to make as much money as you can in a short amount of time as it will burn you out in the long run. When you make a success of a place you need to sell it at its peak and move on if you want to make a dollar.
I will miss the green countryside of the lakes and the scenery is second to none.
But i wont miss the weather here wet wet wet!!!
I dont think i will do better in Oz at all. I will change my lifestyle though and go and work for someone instead of working for myself, and work in a place a i dont live above, and be able to go home and leave work at work. If i can sell the business in the healthy state it is in now i can maximise my assets and not have finacial worry in Oz, spending more time with my young kids and enjoying my family.
The ideal life.................somehow i dont think it will be that easy, but i will give it a go!!! He who dares rodders!
We could always house swap!
Take care
