still hv another few hours to check mails....will CPV granted *today*? or next few dayssss ...

our pre-granted letter was received at 10xxpm melbourne time few weeks ago~ (which is already 8xxpm in perth)... strange!

You sound really down in the dumps! It really is stressful times keep your chin up tomorrows another day (and arnt we wishing them away lol) and hopefully all your dreams will finally come true.

Get on to your EA now and tell them to move their backsides to your place and put the flamming board up before you change your minds abt going with them. Dont know if you ever see my post but our EA put our board up on the wrong house You have to laugh as everyone is useless.

My CO told me I would received my Visa after the 1st July so here's hoping for tomorrow.

Many thanks for your thoughts. When I read that Ozdog had their visa I got all excited as I was one of those who was just about to be granted when the hold was put on them and I was told I would be one of the first to get my visa on 1st July it does make you a little disappointed. But Hey, tomorrows another day.
I even had my passports sitting on my desk ready to post off - how stupid is that hahaha

Hi,

Well some of us are still waiting...and waiting..... AOS paid in 2 weeks ago today.

Waiting in today for Crown coming to re-new the quote.

Trying to second guess everybody involved to o-ordinate transferring money to pay for visa, post to London or drive down...

Looks like we will end up with no home, no flight tickets booked, no internet and no car!

Years ago (!) we had all this planned to perfection, including an early house sale and a 12 month holiday visa. ( Remeber the threads that agonised over this and the Aukland shuffle option!)

Since then chaos, disruption and confusion and has decended.

but it looks like falling into place to see us in Oz mid October.
Anybody else on a similar time line ?

My only consolation is that my inbuilt parania accepts that it aint just me that its happening too....... or are you lot victims of the mighty power which set out to hack me off!
