anyone from Dumbarton / Glasgow

Hi All

Although I am English my husband is Scottish and we live in Dumbarton.. Just wondered if there was anyone else from this area loooking to move ... I would like to go to Brissy or Sunshine coast I think..

Would be great to hear from anyone and their experiences of migration..

Hi Denise
We are from Livingston and I know Dumbarton well have some friends who live there.
We have been waiting just over a year for our visa going on a Parental Contibutary Visa as too old for the skills so Daughter sponsering us hopefully we are at the last stage as bond has been placed etc our only problem like everyone else is getting the house sold which is very depressing,
We hope to go to The Gold Coast which is this side of Brissy but had a holiday there last year and loved it.
Feel free to PM me or we can organise to chat but hope everything goes well for you I think there is a few people from Scotland so someone may eventually organise a meet up.

I'm Not from Dumbarton but I used to work with a lovely lady who was from there - does it count??????? I worked with her in Cardiff. Her name was Irene, she had a husband John and 2 children. Do you know them? LOL.

I knew of a lady that moved to cardiff but she was retiring there. If it is her my sister in law bought her house..

She may know of the frasers/dunions which are part of my family....thanks for your reply
