Just wanted to tell every one. My Oh was in a bike crash yesterday, some idiot ran a red light and crashed straight into my husband on his bike.
So i got the worst phone call ever. Our dream of going to oz could have been taken away from us in a second.
He is fine thank god, no broken bones, just bad neck and spine wiplash, a sprained ankle and a couple of pulled muscles.
We were just trying to decided wether to ship his bike over or not, well that has made our decision for us, as the bike is a right off.
It just shows you how precious life is and how things can change in a split second because of some idiot.

That's terrible.........did they catch the idiot? I'm afraid the world is full of 'em and the nice weather seems to make 'em worse!

glad your oh is ok!! like you say it could ave been worse, my oh has a bike and i worry when he goes out on it although he is really careful it's the other drivers who don't give a t**s about bikers

Oh my goodness you poor thing, some people just do not look out for bikes, glad to hear he is not too badly injured, things like this make you re evaluate your life.

It's a horrible feeling isn't it - I had a similar phone call 2 years ago to say that a man I'd been in love with for 10 years had been killed in a similar accident. A car had pulled out from a side road and not seen him, luckily he was killed instantly and didn't appear to suffer.
If losing Steve has taught me one thing it's to live every day as if it's your last and it's never too late to tell someone you love them.
Look after your OH, he's going to be very sore over the next few days and probably very shaky.
