WhY? because I say what I belive...Nobody can see the future. Nobody can see "the other side". Sometimes people just need someone to talk to, who will say the right things to them. If you go to see a shrink, they will hand you a large bill. If a medium makes you feel better, then all well and good.
thats is just one opinion earlswood ... and just because its yours doesn't mean its right.

Hi Earlswood, Sorry Earlswood I know that this is what you believe, but you see you can't say 'nobody can see the other side', when there are people claiming they have. All you can say really is that you have never had an experience that makes you believe (if all that makes sense).
OK ile tell you what happened with me that makes me believe, it's a pretty long story so hope you have a tinny in your hand LOL
When I was pregnant with my son I went to the hospital to visit my Oh's Grandmother, when I was there she asked if there was anything that I needed, being polite I said 'no thank you' anyway my Mum-In-Law pipes up that we didnt have a wardrobe for the new baby, with that Grandmother wrote on a piece of paper that she would leave the Wardrobe if anything happened to her to the new baby. That day I went to Labour 6 weeks early and had a baby boy, she was fortunate enough to come out of hospital and visit Luke and was the first person to hold him. 2 years later my second son was born 8 weeks early at the time Grandmother was taken into hospital very poorly, the hospital send a DVD of Jordan (the baby) so that she could see him (she was far to poorly to come out of hospital). Nurses woke me at 4am to tell me that Jordan had taken a turn for the worst and that they had called the Vicar to come and read him his last rights, I went straight to special care as they were taking him of his ventilator and a few moments later (seemed like eternity), Jordan started to breath on his own !! My Mum-In-Law came to visit me in hospital and it turns out Grandma had passed away the same time as Jordan began to breath !!
Up until the age of 2 years, both my boys would see her (I couldnt), they used to point to her in photos and say 'thats the lady in my room' !!! The wardrobe was in their room.
So you see Earlswood sometimes it takes an experience before you can believe !
Hi all........I just thought that I would put my pennies worth in cos this is quite an interesting conversation........this too is a long one.....sorry!!!
20 years ago my uncle died at the age of 21 in a car accident, he had been out at his girlfriends that night and had drove home rather late. Unfortunately on his way home (thurs night) he had fallen asleep at the wheel and drove in to a set of traffic lights, when the paramedics got to him he was confirmed dead. At the time his Grandmother was in hospital, she was 95 and very ill. Nobody had told my Great Grandma about the accident as everyone thought that she would not survive the news, however, a few days after the accident we all went to visit her in hospital and she told my Grandmother that My uncle had visited her at 2am (the time of the crash) and woken her up and said goodbye. We told her this was not possible, we lied and told her that he had been away at the time. But she was adamant that he had visited her at that exact time and that he had his best white suit on (he was wearing it the night of the accident). She told us that he kissed her forehead and had said goodbye Nanna, i will see you soon. 3 days after our visit my Great Grandma died and was buried in the family plot with my Uncle. Explain that one??????
Hello it's me again, you'll never guess what happened to me yesterday..........I was making a casserole and opened the kitchen cupboard to get a casserole dish out and there was a little toy kangaroo in the cupboard next to the dish!!!!!! I had never seen the little toy before and after the Colin Fry experience on Friday night I was totally freaked out, convinced it was a sign! Anyway as it turns out my daughter's friend had given it to her last week and she must have put it in the "junk drawer" just above the kitchen cupboard. It must have fallen over the back of the drawer and landed next to the casserole dish! lol
