Wow thats great the fact that he got a name and knew he was your grandad is good, if he had just said Ive got an old man here think he is your grandad, well that can apply to pretty much anyone of a certail age!!!!!
I am really into spitiuality and psychic awareness and have been developing mine own for years.
Earlswood is right in one respect you DO get loads of fakes out there (Derek Acorah is def a fruit bat and I would take every thing he said with a pound of salt) some of them are just out to rip you off, but you do get good ones.
When I was doing my psychic awareness classes, I got asked what was special occasion was happening in July and that fairy cakes was a good idea! well its my birthday in July and I thought it must just be that, my Mum phoned me the next day to tell me that my brother had announced the night before he was getting married in July and would my mum make his cake, but could they have a stack of fairy cakes instead of a traditional cake! Hed phoned her around the time I was being told about the cakes too.
I have loads more stories about why I know spirits are real, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, my hubby was a huge sceptic too, but due to something that happened earlier on this year, he is a bigger believer than me now!!!!

We had a very similar experience. I went to see a psychic after we had started the long and windy process that is emigrating to this country. She told me that she could see me living in a hot country, she wanted to say America, but although it was similar to America it was much hotter. She said that we would have a much better standard of living and that for the first six to nine months I would wonder what the hell I had done and then it would get better. All she could talk about was this huge emotional rollercoaster I would go on and a huge change for me. So far she's been correct on everything. Only trouble is she went on to mention the possibility of a grandaughter for me which would make me want to stay in Australia !! My girls are only 19 and 16 so maybe she got that bit mixed up (I hope).
The rest of the stuff was very personal details from my past, absent father and brother passed on. No way she could have guessed at that.
Earlswood, you seem a lovely young guy but, there is nothing that you BELIEVE in apart from lots of negative things , are there any positives in your life? I know you will turn this into a joke now (if you answer)
I did believe once but was conned.

In my younger days I visited a number of clairvoyants and almost every one told me that I would be moving away to another country and it would be a very long way from England. At the time I had no intention of going anywhere and thought it was a rubbish- but here I am planning to get to Oz by the end of the year! I suppose you could argue that they put the idea in my head, but I really don't think I'm that suggestible.
My husband is also a complete sceptic, but then most men are.

Im so please you've received a message from your grandad. Sometimes all we need a little bit of reasurance. I know whats like when you receive a message from the spirit world, I too like receiving and giving messages. Its a great feeling when you can pass on a message and bring love and joy to the person receiving it. I know there are a lot of people who dont believe in it, due to the fact that there are lots of con artists out there, but also there are genuine people. Con artists are everywhere, in any profession, not just mediums. I think we are free spirits to believe in whatever we want, so we should respect each others beliefs.

I'm afraid i have to agree with Earslwood on this one, in that its a con.
However, i don't believe they do more harm than good, its helped you hasn't it, and lots of people take great comfort from this kind of thing. So who cares if its a con.
