Oz on UK TV

It seems to me that most poms migrating to Oz head to Qld and Perth.
Is this because of the weather or are these two places shown on TV over there more than other parts of Oz. and if so does that influence peoples desision?

You could of hit the nail right on the head there, i remember seeing lots of programmes on oz before we left and they are aimed at Qland & Perth, to be honest the only reason we came to NSW was becuase hubby had lived here before & knew he could get work with his old firm here, we would like to move to another state when we are more financialy sound.

Hi Taffy

For us we had no choice as hubby got a work sponsorship in Perth. So I always say Perth chose us We were originally looking to go to NSW.
