We are new to the forum but it is great to read threads from those of you who are lucky enough to have made the move. Its now 1.22am, im up for work in 4hrs but cant take my eyes off the screen. Nathan here by the way, Janine has left the building. Im learning quite alot just by reading but I must warn all out there that i dont half rattle on when i get going. I was introduced to this site by a great bloke just the other day as it goes, and now its like my bible. Im addicted and hope to hear from all of you out there who can point me in the right direction. We had a BBQ today and all we were talking about was oz. I have family in brisbane and was wondering if that would make it easier for me to get to oz? any info would be great. Had a message from hogan mining company today and wondered if anyone knows of this company? They want me to pay them
$283 to help me find a job. is that alot or should I just hold off until I find out if we are qualified enough to get a visa before we look for jobs? sounds silly but early worm and all, never mind im off to bed. Nathan.
In my opinion I wouldn't pay anyone anything just yet.
I'm sure you'll be able to find work for yourselves when you get out here.
My advice would be to find yourselves a good migration agent. You will find loads recommended on this site. Most of them will give you a free 15 minute consultation.
That way you will then have a better idea of which way to proceed and with which visa option.
Good luck to you guys. The path is a long and stressful one but worth it in the end.
I remember doing the exact same thing as you, we never stopped talking about Oz!! we must have bored our friends to tears every opportunity we had we would have a bbq and talk about Oz, but now we are on the other side, and even though it seems a long road it was well worth the walk, lol
Everyone on here is really helpful and friendly and ready to try and answer all those questions you have.

Hi Guys and welcome to PIO. I would see if you can get a visa first before handing over any money. Its a long process but well worth it (we hope).. Goodluck
