Yea you're right....it's just having the patience and the TIME to wait for THE ONE buyer!!
We've had a few full price offers.....then never heard from them again! We've had couples who love it so much I thought they were gonna move in on the spot....then never heard from them again!!
I've just dropped it 5K.....installed 3 new ultra modern bathrooms...re-landscaped the garden...new carpet in bedroom and new oven and hob! Oh and kicked my pathetic liars of Estate Agents into touch!!
So fingers crossed the new agents should be a step up from the idiots we last employed...and no I'm not being harsh, infact I'm being quite generous just calling them idiots!!
I'm a bit scared of the agents in Oz from what I've been reading on here though!! Why is it that 90% of people (whatever the profession!) are just out to sting you? How do these people sleep? I'm too soft....I wouldn't sleep for the rest of my life if I ripped someone off knowingly!!
I'll be using this great site to find an agent, plumber, electrician etc when I get to Oz! There's nothing better than a personal recommendation!!

Just wanted to give you all a bit of hope, Got a offer on my house yesterday then got other today yep 2 offers maybe we are lucky (Don't think so) or the market is picking up. Maybe all them people who were 'just looking' have made their minds up and are now buying.

Our house has been on the market 3 weeks and having our first viewing on weds, she apparently loves it from the details and doesnt have to sell her own property to finance ours. Im sure they all seem keen and after reading previous threads im not getting too excited.
