Hi

Our house has been on the market three weeks and we have a viewing tomorrow evening. Someone wants to UPsize so hopefully ours is UP enough for them.

OH keeps taking the p**s saying should he use he shower, don't want to see water droplets on the door when anyone looks in the bathroom and should he use the towels that I have so neatly folded GGGRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

House on the market since Feb. Seven viewing, one offer (28,000 below asking price, so did not accept) No viewings in April. Phone call from estate agents to state the obvious, HOUSES ARE JUST NOT SELLING, THE MARKET IS C--P........so wait we will have to do. If visa arrives before the house sells we are going to consider renting instead of giving it away. X

We have been up for sale since September and had loads of viewing. No offers whatsoever. We are now on our second agent and have also knocked our price down £12k.

I have tried the feng shui and st joseph statue to no avail!! The only positive side is prices are dropping in Australia so what we lose here we should gain there (here's hoping!!!)

I am on with 2 agents one the one I work for I have dropped by £65,000 and have been on for 4 months. I have had around 15 viewings two offers 30k below asking price from mainly people with properties for sale some not even on the market
I will no longer deal with these idiots only people in a position to proceed are now welcome
I am resigne to the fact that I will have to rent it
So I have 7 letting agents coming round tomorrow I'm taking no chances

Hi - We are in Herts and have been on the market since January and had visa since June 07.

Had 6 viewers so far and no offers, now reduced 75k to stir up some interest.

Live in essex, house been up for sale since nov 07, had about 20ish viewings so not to bad, sold to the same people twice but they keep losing their buyers. dropped the price 20k so far.

getting fed up with the cleaning

Have any of you seen this website property snake -- home -- find falling house prices in your area it shows you all the properties in your area that have sold - what they reduced their price to and how many days they were on the market. Its quite interesting.... or am I just a nerd

We are also on our second agent, been on the market since january 08. Had 3 viewings in total. House on for £389 originally, been offered £340 by 1st viewer, said no though, now on for offers in region of £349. Not expecting to get visa til early 09 but my view is except the 1st reasonable offer you get as the market just keeps getting worse. If you dont except an offer now you might be excepting it in a years time. Everyone was happy when the house prices kept rising over the last few years but just cant except the fact that they are now dropping. Sell, get out to Oz, sit back and relax in the sun and forget all about it. Hopefully you will see your Ozzy house price increase.

house been on market since july 07 , had three viewers but still no go. dropped price by 30k, modern 4 bed , 4 bath house nice area, anybody thinking about selling get it on the market now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

All the stress of passing the TRA and medicals has paled into insignificance compared to the house sale. We, like many, will have to consider renting it out if we can't sell at a reasonable price; either that or wait a few years before moving, by which time the kids will be adults and may not want to come with us - which may scupper the whole venture. Why didn't we put the house on the market last summer?? It's so frustrating.
