Just come accross this as i trawl the net and on reflection it's probably nothing new or out of the ordinary however here goes............
Singapore Airlines are currently ofering a 10% Discount on hotel stays from 1st April 2008 if booked online. As ever there are terms and conditions but isn't there always, maybe worth checking out if you are leaving us on or around 1st April. Let us know if you got a good deal or it wasn't as good as i initially thought.The link to Singapore Airlines is below.

When we flew with Singapore Airlines we booked their Sinagpore Stopover. It was fantsatic and great value for money. So, I would imagine this will be too.
It might be worth trying to haggle with Customer Services.
The dry season ends at the beginning of March every year. Malaysia & Singapore tend not to be the destination of choice from April till about October because that is the wet season. I've had some excellent discounts on hotels in Malaysia, booked privately, in March because this is when the Asian tourists don't want the space.
Might have to ring them in Singapore to do some haggling but it might pay off all the same.
They are probably getting 50% discounts on the hotels themselves.
