Visa finally lodged!

Hi everyone,

We have finally lodged our online 176 visa - I thought it would never happen but it has! Now I am preparing for my long wait for case officer. Currently just happy to have lodged it but know that I will defo get impatient further down the line.

Thanks for that. Gizmo will not doubt catch u on IM! Paul and Lisa lets hope its only 6 months as this fits in nicely with my plans - what do they say about the best laid palns - tee hee! See you are also on 176 visa where you headed?

My agent advised us only yesterday that we can expect the visa to be granted in June as the current timescale is 6 months for online applications. We plan to move to Brisbane in time for Christmas, assuming we manage to sell our house, but will consider other areas if the job offers are good enough.

Lets hope your agent is right. Can't wait to go now, also have to sell house and hoping to get it on the market in April. So fingers crossed for us all.
