I have driven through Healesville when we went to the Healesville Sanctuary......it was very a small place in the country. Not that far from Melbourne......in the Yarra valley so lots of vinyards around. When we went it was very smokey as they had bush fires. Would imagine it's a tranquil place to live

We visited Healsville too. My husband and I feel in love with it, what put us off was that there was no direct link to the CBD. If i remember you would have to drive 25 mins to lilydale to catch the train. The nearest shopping centre would be Chirnside Park (I think, so if i am wrong sorry!) which is about 30 mins away. It seemed very rustic and almonst how you would imagine OZ!! Hope this helps.
