hi everyone,just to let you know we had our medicals today.went well.went to pinehill,hitchen.doctor was really nice.very quick for kids.given the once over,about 5 mins each if that.i was really worried about it all,felt quite sick before but it was nothing at all to worry about.so now we wait again.....tracy.xx.

OH had his medical today too - think the blood pressure rose a little!! The x-ray & meds were over pretty quick but loads of hanging around in between. Glad it was painless for the kids. Fingers crossed for good news soon!

Tracey what do the medicals consist of for the children, Trev and I dont need them till we apply for our PR in OZ but the children need them and joe also has to have an xray aswell as he is going t pre school, do they have to have blood tests ? Amys gona freak if they do

hi helaine,no blood test unless 15 (i think) and no x-ray unless 11 plus.ours are all under 9.all the doctor did was just very lightly check them over,2 little ones hardly anything.2 older ones just got them to read a letter from a board covering one eye with hand and then the other.checked everyones urin (which we organised before we went) and listerned to their hearts.that was it.took about 5 mins each if that.have to wait 1 week for our blood test results (just me and steve).nothing to worry about.tracy.xx.
