There has got to be more to life.........

It has just dawned on me that we really really are doing the right thing by moving over to Oz, OH hasn't long been home after travelling home on the M25 in the dark mierable weather for 2 1/2 hours. He is now exhasted, and am I, we have no energy to do anything but sit in front of the TV, off to bed soon

ready to get up at 7 to start another day at work.....there has got to be more to life than this.....some one please tell me the "more to life" can be found in Oz!!!

we have both just had a rubbish day and can't wait to move to the over side of the world!!

Hi Sam Im with u!!!!

I was on the train on the way home and i happened to look around at the faces GLUM GLUM GLUM!!!

As was mine I have to tell u. I was sooo depressed, had the worst day at work (coudnt even escape at lunch due to the weather and my workload), got my dinner at 7.30 and hardly had time to look at my 3yr old before her bed time - which makes u feel like the worst mother on the planet!

So this has confirmed my decision I AM MOVING TO OZ

. I know everyday will not be a sunfilled haven of pool parties and bbq's (just the weekends lol) But as u say THERES GOTTA BE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jo, thanks for your message it made me feel a lot better. It has taken me a while to come round to the idea of Oz, about 3 years!! But I am now 110% ready for the move and CAN"T WAIT!!!!

And then there's the cold! I am permanently cold and I hate it. I hate winter clothes ( which you need to wear 9 months of the year), and the greyness depresses me. We went to Queensland for 4 weeks in Nov 06, and when we got back I never got over the greyness throughout the rest of that winter. I read somewhere once that when you land in Oz it's like somebody switched the lights on. I am so ready!!!!

I'm with you on this one! My whole reason for moving is to get more from life than I do here! I'm not expecting it to be perfect but I figure it's got to be worth trying.

If I get to spend more time with my husband and son then I'll have got what I went for!
