Fantastic news - really pleased for you - your list seems pretty comprehensive - however just wondered as you have your house to go to, is there anyone already over there who could organise some basic provisions and a first meal for you so you don't have to go shopping the minute you arrive. Have a great journey and look forward to hearing how it and your first few weeks on the Gold Coast go.

No provisions when we get there, however we ensured our flight arrived in the morning at Brisbane so we can do what we need to do during the day (will keep us awake) we are packing some necassarities (travel kettle, cutlery, plastic plates, plastic cups etc, then we can have a good night sleep on the 1st night. We are hiring most of the furniture we need until ours arrives too.
