Agree with you earlswood they do stink after a while - so bad that my daughters had to sit out on the deck untill she would allow me to put them in the washing machine

They do stink as they have a sheepskin lining that traps all the sweat from the feet, they are grannies bootsthere is always a pong around them.
i got a pair for crimbo and yes i do wear then alot.....granny eh ? and OMG they stink to high heaven, i though i was being clever by putting them upside down on the radiator to dry out and they stunk the whole bedroom out.....i blamed hubbies trainers still love em though !!

I agree with others in this thread, in Australia you can still find genuine sheepskin ugg boots for $80-$100.. There are a lot of people selling synthetic boots these days, but your feet sweat and then smell really bad.. There are a couple of sites setup specifically for importing from AU to UK so do a search in google.. I just bought these: Chocolate Ugg Boots - Classic Tall - UKUGG Boots
Oh and a tip, don't wear socks with them.. The wool inner will allow your feet to breathe and you'll avoid the horrid stink some of you have talked about
.....and if they should get a big whiffy there is a really good shampoo you can buy specifically for sheepskin/Uggs and you just swish the boots around in the soapy water and they come out smelling really fresh....just don't leave them either on the radiator or in direct sunlight to dry!

DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS........unless you are a grandmother...they stink like trainers....urghhhh, they remind me of granny boots smelling of wee and stained with food stains.
