Hi all
Well its our farewell party tonight. I'm a bit apprehensive to be honest. I just hope its not all too emotional as I want it to be a celebration as well. We've the ususal disco and food etc.. and no doubt the drinks will be flowing. Its all getting very real and near! I've just booked our flights to Perth and am awaiting confirmation of the accommodation bookings. I can't beleive its all come round so quickly as a few weeks ago when we were waiting for the house sale to go through I thought we'd never get tot the stage of being able to book flights. Well better go and get ready for the 'do' and I'll be sure to take the tissues.

Just joined the forum but wanted to say hope your farewell bash goes as well as expected. We are hopefully moving to Melbourne in April with my partners company and we are thinking of having a farewell do but didn't know whether it would be too emotional for us and our friends and family. All the best
Kathy

Hi all
The party went great an in actual fact wasn't as emotional as I thought it would be. We had loads if great cards and we sent a book around for people to put in a message & their contact details. The place we had it at actually sold out of wine towards the end and said it was the best night in terms of sales that they had ever had! I'm not sure what that says about our family & friends though! So today is going to be spent chilling out and I'm going to have a re-read of all the cards we got.
