Just like to say that we can't believe how much the damn internet costs and how slow it is sometimes. The price here is shocking but hey ho that's the price you pay for moving to this beautiful country and living by the best beaches in the world and having a totally laid back lifestyle compared to what we had in the UK.
Suppose I'll just grab a large glass of wine and try not to think about it - ah there it's gone already - and just think that we are so lucky that we were allowed to move here and raise a toast as we've been here 4 months today!!!!! Feel like we've been here forever and the grey, cold weather of the UK is a far distant memory. So glad OH persuaded me to come here and will thank him for the rest of my life - even when there is a nasty spider sat in one of my shoes. So laid back now that doesn't even bother me just scoop them up in a glass and chuck them at the back of the garden.
As you can tell we love it here and have not a single regret, even though our friends and family are far away (but never that far as all threatening to come on holiday this year and visit us lol!) and we've made lots of friends since being here and are generally having a thoroughly good time (feels like a working holiday).
hey ho some of my mates are on line too - hi Dawn hi Wendy - I'm sat here bored in work and Adey doesn't finish for another 20 mins so thought I'd see what other people thought too, in his name as well so I was anonymous until you both replied lol.
Wendy is unfortunately the odd one out but soon won't be as she's had her visa granted and will be making her way down to Brisbane in 6 months time. Yet another one escapes the UK soon there will be nobody left!!!!
good thinking we'll need a holiday by then to recover from our visitors lol. Seriously I can't wait to see a bit more of Australia and it'll be lovely to catch up with her as we've talked about our big move for over a year now as we both started applying at the same time.
