Sorry haven't posted much on here but love Reading PIO.
We are at a hotel by Manchester airport tonight and leave at 10am tomorrow.
It has been sooooooooo long getting to this bit but I feel really mixed up with all sorts of emotions, especially leaving my mum and dad today.
We are staying in the CBD for two weeks and then in indooroopilly for 4 weeks until we can find rented house. Jasper our dog flies out on 23rd feb so hope he gets there okay.
Anyone got any tips for Brisbane?

My Daughter (Johatts) on here lives in Sinnamon Park, Brissie and has welcomed a few people from PIO to her home for a drink so when you next get on line why not drop her a note (Sorry Joanne) and I am sure she will be able to answer any questions on Brissie that you have as Indooroopilly is not far from her.
We should be making our way to Brissie later this year if we ever get our visa.

Hi Karen, Good luck to you all in your new life! We haven't got out visa's issued yet so will be a while before we are in your shoes. Remember rome wasn't built in a day and take it all one step at a time. Like you the saying goodbye is going to be the hardest thing ever! Did you have a going away party? Ali x
