It's very very very rare for something like this to happen............ but I was never very good at landings even after eight years LOL. I only started flying to try and conquer my fear of it. Now that IS an admission.......... mind you I did start with Dan Air, ( God I loved that airline). But you are far safer flying than driving in Townsville, take my word for it.
Thank God (and the Pilot!) the plane landed safely!!
I dont understand why the Quantas cabin crew/ground staff couldnt give you a helping hand, when it would have been OBVIOUS you needed one! Some people lend a hand without a second thought, others need a kick up the rear end!
