looking for turner/miller work info

hi me and my family are in the process of the boring part of form filling for australia,just wondering if there are many jobs out there for engineers ( turner/miller) as you can under stand we are worried that when we get there,that there's no jobs for my required occupation!!thinking about melbourne or adelaide for our new life.does anyone know of any engineering firms of our chosen area,any info would be helpful!!
