rained off again!!!!!!, no money to go and get drunk. If I wasn't starting a new job next week I would be on the next plane back to blighty.

no joke. Its rained virtually every day since we broke up for xmas and i'm not talking the 1 hour tropical storm then back to sunshine scenario but constant drizzle and heavy downpours.

I did read there has been really bad rain and floods. Its pretty terrible really.

HOWEVER.. did you hear about our summer last year...... worst one on record. Our cold rain / wind / drizzle goes on for months and months

Same for me just started work this week and it has p***ed it down nearly all week. What has happened to the sunshine coast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its great.

After seven years of drought I'm sick of sunshine all day long... day in... day out. I'm now really looking forward to seven years of lovely cool wet rain. You don't know how lucky you are?

week leading upto xmas (you know when you need extra cash) worked 1 day out of 5. First week back; worked 2.5 days of 5 all of which meant working in rain. Now i would challenge you tell me how lucky I am after I have been working out in the rain all day picking up and putting down concrete blocks with skin hanging off my finger tips, tennis elbow, p1ssy mud and sinking blocks.

10 minutes ago we had a bit of thunder and it started raining - we went out dancing in it.Soon as we got out it stopped!!!!
