We're Off to Validate!! - Page 2

Have a great time.

We're going on 8th Feb to validate and have a look around.

Fly to Sydney then we've hired a car and will drive up to the Gold Coast via the Hunter Valley ( Em said we can't visit them unless we fill the car with rose for her

).

Stay at Kirra beach for a week then after the meet - see some of you there - on 23rd go and have a look at the Sunshine Coast. Hopefully after that we'll have a better idea of where we would like to move to, rental costs, job prospects etc.

Really looking forward to it, only 4 weeks to go .

Thanks everyone for your replies and good wishes.
We are so excited. This will be our first time in Australia so I suppose a lot is riding on this trip. We've done all our research and planning using the internet and forums such as this, so its going to be fabulous to see it first hand.

Hi Guys, Good luck with your validation trip. I'm sure you will have a brilliant time in Melbourne and it will be lovely and sunny for you! We are in the same position as you - haven't sold our house yet - and will be doing our validation trip in April. Hoping to stay in Melbourne for about 4 days then Sydney - just because we love Sydney - and then maybe Whitsundays if we are lucky!

Good luck to you all; wish in hindsight I'd had a look around some other parts of the country first. The Gold coast is lovely, but after a trip to Sydney, I wish we'd had a proper look at other options too- I loved it there too!
