hello all i know this is the gossip site but there are a lot more people on here. well im 42 with 25yrs experience in the sandblasting paintspraying industry, also 5 yr exp in yacht fairing if any1 can lead me in rite direction for employment it would be much appr happy new year

I live in Hedge End but I know the Hamble like the back of my hand, roughly know the Itchen and know all the other harbours in the Solent plus a lot of the people involved.

I've no idea how Vikal's recruitment drive went but apparently boat-building (specifically yacht-building, I think) is a booming business in Western Australia. I would think it is a fair bet that boat builders are probably in demand in all the coastal regions of Oz.

I reckon it would be worth contacting Vikal.

I will do some more sleuthing later and see whether I can discover any more boatbuilders for you. My sister lives in Perth so if any yards there need checking out, I'm sure I can help to arrange it.

Hiya pm paulnlisa ,i dont think they will mind ,paul came over as sprayer and is now working on yachts on the gold coast ,he didnt find it easy at first but seems to be getting there now ,he may be able to help point you in the right direction
