Talking Well caught, Billy

Hi Janette

Well - that is a very impressive looking fish. I hope you made Billy take it outside to gut it, scale it etc.

What sort of fish is it, how much did it weigh, where was it caught, exactly and above all, have you eaten it yet? If so, how did you cook it and what was it like?

Fairbloodydinkum has a fish recipe which sounds mouthwatering. It is here:

Cheers

Gill

Cool Gill

It is a red snapper caught 20 miles out from Hilarys. Not eaten it yet as billy is a bit worse for wear with the alcohol Its in the freezer for the barbie next weekend. Will have a look at the recipe.

Hi Janette

Unless you really, really dislike fish, give it a go. Red Snapper is a delicacy - the equivalent of a wild-caught sea bass in the UK. Admittedly, I've only ever seen it as fillets until now. But it looks a very fine fish and I'd certainly get my own gnashers into some of it. My Mum knows all kinds of recipes for Red Snapper.

Cheers

Gill
