its snowing here in good old glasgow,just wondering if any of you xpats are missing the snow?

We have moved from Cumbria, and yes, yes, yes I miss the snow and frost and ice !!!!!! Those snow topped mountains, the winter wonderland - treasure it while you've got it !!!!

Ooooooohhhhhhhhhh no, no snow for me guys, nice to see on a postcard and thats it!!!Give me the sun anyday even tho Boxing Day hit 44'C !!!!!!!!!!!!! ( that was a tad too hot tho )

Think our record is only 36 degrees, but it's the humidity. I loved that feeling of freezing breath and stuff.

I am sure the neighbours know by now (and are being very polite about it) but we find it hard to wear too many clothes outside if you know what I mean. I'm sure we will get adjusted, but I swear to god, even my hair is thinning out to cope with the climate - or could that be stress, lol..............

Our plan is trip to NZ for some skiing and a cold-fix. Only my cold weaher clothes are still on the high seas, so plan B for now - three cold showers a day and a cozzie.
