xxxxxxxxxx even worse than first thought!!!

Just wanted to remind anyone who is thinking of moving over here,or are in the process of having quotes from Shipping companies...PLEASE learn from our experiences..Don't use *********!!! They are useless, and its still just as bad once the container arrives over here. They,ve had our container sat in their depot since 7th December, it still hasnt been custom or quarantine checked and they still dont know when it will be, because apparently we're in a big line of others, all just sat there waiting!!! I know we've had xmas and new year, but have spoken to people who have used the likes of Crowne and Pickfords and they arrived after us and have already got their stuff!!! and more to the point they were kept informed all the way through the process, we ring, get told they'll ring back and they never do!!!! We paid alot of money for *********, thinking they had a good name but boy was we wrong!!
Thanks for the support you gave us last time when we first posted our thread about *********, we just dont want anyone else to go through what we have, we thought what happened in the u.k with them was bad enough, but they're taking the mick now. Apparently the groupage will arrive 11th January...seeing is believing ay???? Still cant believe they split my stuff up like that (anyone who is reading this and hasnt got a clue what i'm on about them please read first thread>>>"Don't Use ********"

Anyway thanks for listening to me moaning!!!!

Love
Tracey

Will add another of my own soon, but have been complaining too much lately!!!

So sorry this has happened to you - it is just what you do not need when you are starting a new life.

Much love - and get some Rescue Remedy - it's working for me.....

It sounds like ********* are using spare capacity from other import companies
This great for their costs but becomes a Logistics nightmare to control.
Hence the fob off when you phone them.

They should certainly review their business model because this one does not
Seem to be working.

Thank fully I sold all my things before I moved and did not have to use an import company.

Hi All,
we are using PSS.
excellent quote for a shared container compared to others we tried.
packers were really friendly and efficient. stuff has been in storage since august (1st month free).
no complaints at all.
regards
Steve

Hi Mandy,

I dont think so. We are in the Manchester area.
They have teams of packers that cover different regions of the country.

Rescue remedy is fantastic - it is made by Bach Flower Remedies, and comes in a spray. You can get it from most chemists (inc Boots) and health food shops. And readily in Oz (thankyou God).

It is really comforting in times of stress - three sprays under the tongue every hour when really bad, then cut down to three times a day. It works on homeopathic principals - no idea how, but it really does calm you down and offer you support. Both my hubbie and I have been taking it a lot over the last few months, and (although I know I was on valium for a short time when Syd died), it is what we both use to get us through at the moment.

I cannot recommend it highly enough - we even had the vet use it on our dogs before their flight, and Sophie has taken some now to help her settle.

Have a look on the Back Flower Remedies web site for info. Don't know how they work, but they really do help. Stress, delays, waiting, indecision, moving, parting, feeling like you are going to go mad........... Hope that helps !!!

Best wishes a xxx
