Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year to you and your families!

I have been really laughing over the Christmas Period, it has tiggled me!

Three sets of our friends have announced that thay are looking into moving over to Brisbane!

I think Richard and I (no I'm not Mrs Bucket) have started something here.

I am really pleased that we have set a good example, mind you there are a few people we don't want following us......................

Have any of your friend said the same? or are you following someone out there?

lol, April, tell them you're going to Hobart if you don't want them to follow you to Brissy (nothing against Hobart by the way it's the first place that popped into my head), failing that you could always hide behing the sofa if they call.

Not had any yet! Although spookily have found out that I will be living about 10 minutes from Dan (Scarletfever) in Buderim!

Have suddenly gained some new 'friends' at work who are due t be travelling round Oz next year and are hoping for a free bed for a week!

Hi Guy's

I can just imagine getting off the plane at Brisbane and having the whole of Gillingham there to greet us.
It is quite funny that over the last couple of months we have met another three families (not the friends) in Gillingham who are "THINKING" of emigrating to Brisbane.

Your right Eddie & Tina, I can just picture THE MOTHER IN LAW with her bag's packed, shouting "wait for me".

Really though, I do tell people that the will be welcome to come over for a Holiday, and I do hope that some will come.

Hope your New Year Celebrations were good!

We're not exactly following someone but when my friend got her visa it made us start thinking about emigrating and eventually go for it ourselves. She lives in Melbourne and we're moving to Perth, hopefully.

Hi K,

Two lot's of our friends who are talking about going over to Oz do have family there already, so they are not actually following us, but I think we have spured them on. Their mum and dad have been in Townsville for over 20 years. Our other friend is the one following me (can't live without me) when she heard we are emigrating she was really upset, I explained my reasons for wanting to go and she must agree with me as she and her OH iare hoping to start the process soon.
