Apparently, according to the news last night Perth was the hottest place in the world yesterday not sure what the temps rose too but over 40 degrees I think

Saw that on the news Ali, apparently it hit 44 in a few places yesterday. One couple emailed Sunrise and said it was so hot they slept with ice blocks in their beds last night to help cool things down a bit!
We're supposedly heading for 30s over the weekend - that'll be a nice welcome for my sister (she arrives tomorrow night and I'm sooooooooo looking forward to it!). 38 forecast for new years eve here!

Must admit its been abit chilly here,,too chilly for me to go in pool or sea.We have a possible cyclone hitting over weekend and most beaches will have to be closed and it will rain every day until 2008 !! ,so looks like we are in for a lovely new year!!! not that im jealous of you Ali ,,lol

We didn't stay in - went to the beach boxing day with the Bravehearts - bloody sand burnt our feet lol - have to say that time flew by and non of us realised that it was almost 7pm.

Yes the sand did burn our feet ouch. It was a lovely day yesterday & great to cool off in the ocean just wish I was there now. After us rushing away Marc was working to 11.30 but had forgot to phone me I was so mad as I would have sat there & watched the sunset.

Now I'm really glad I didn't complain about the rain we had at the weekend, it could have been so much worse! It started on Thursday and continued through till Sunday - my garden looks good for it though, my sunflowers have gone a bit mad!

Well thank you all for the weather reports from the hottest place in the world. I in particular like the bit about having to take a dip in the ocean to cool off…..
Let me give you a weather report from the greyest place in the world....
It's currently grey and crappy with a strong likelihood of more grey and crappy followed by a strong front of grey and crappy.
